oh, yes. i don't remember ever feeling quite so hot in my life. i remember warm days spent in the sun, but cooler in the evening, sometimes enough to pull on a sweater.
i remember it being a lovely, peaceful place — a bit idyllic, perhaps. sometimes i can't help shake the feeling that i'm letting people down by being here, though. like i've forgotten responsibilities i'd promised to uphold.
( mathias is unafraid, too uncertain about far too many things in his life to not feel certain of this. he knows milo feels the same way; he can feel it in every single thing milo does for him. )
it was divine. but i can assure you it was far less seductive than the sight of my boyfriend working hard on an amazing meal. and sometimes you just want something a little extra for dessert.
